Understanding our commitments.

Under the Telecommunications Act, MA Global may contract with its customers either on an individual basis, or by way of a standard form of agreement. MA Global has elected to supply some of its services by way of a standard form of agreement. This means the terms and conditions contained in the Standard Agreement documents apply to all customers who acquire that particular service.

Your internet service provider may cache web pages, meaning the documents on this site may not be the most current version published by MA Global. You should heck you have the most current version before relying on these documents. You can do so by calling MA Global's Customer Service. MA Global also recommends you make your own enquiries as to whether a particular service is fit for the purpose for which you intend to use it, and you should not rely on these documents in doing so.

Service modification.

Inappropriate account usage.

MA global reserves the right to modify or change its services' prices, terms and conditions without prior notice according to the market requirements.

MA Global's services may only be used for lawful purposes. Materials and/or transmissions in violation of Lebanese Republic regulations is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, any hacking activity, threatening or obscene material, or material protected by trade secret. MA Global or other relevant authorities may determine from time to time inappropriate usage of this account and the privilege may be revoked at MA Global discretion. Should this occur, the Customer will be informed in writing of this action. Customers sending massive e-mails (commercial or junk) will not be tolerated and will result in their automatic account termination.

Misuse of information.

Service warranties.

Use of any information obtained via this service is at Customers risk. MA Global specifically denies any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information obtained through its service.

With respect to the service provided, MA Global makes no warrantees of any kind, whether expressed or implied, including any implied warranties or fitness of the MA Global service for a particular purpose. MA Global takes no responsibility for any damages suffered by the Customer including, but not limited to, lost savings, lost profits or lost opportunities, loss of data from delays, non-deliveries, mis-deliveries, or service interruption caused by the Customer's errors and/or omissions or any other unpredicted cause. 

Privacy Policy

What personal information we collect.

MA Global's Privacy Policy is for people who use, may use or are applying to use our telecommunications services. This includes members of the public, people using or applying to use our services and existing MA Global customers. People using or applying to use our services may be using or considering use of fixed, broadband, post-paid mobile plans.

Generally, MA Global collects personal information like name, address, date of birth, MyAccount username and password, gender, occupation, location, contact details, payment details, payment information. We may collect and use a government identifier issued to you (e.g. your driver’s license number) to verify your identity.

We also collect and generate additional personal information about you, your actual possible interest and preferences, based on your activities with us (e.g. information related to SMSs, calls, internet browsing, your use of our websites and apps, location).

We may also obtain information about you from other people or entities such as an MA Global reseller, government, marketers, data brokers and other advertising-related organisations (Third Parties). 

How we collect and hold personal information.

  • We collect (and create) personal information in a few different ways, namely:

  • We collect it straight from you, such as when you interact with us on social media, online, or over the phone.

  • We collect it form your device, such as when you use our website or our chat service.

  • We generate it in the course of our analytics work. 

What we collect straight from you.

More specifically, we collect personal information from you directly when you complete an application, pay a bill, fill in a competition form, make a complaint, give feedback or complete a survey. What we collect will usually be obvious.

Occasionally, you may give us sensitive information. We don't use this unless it is relevant to your account and you have given us your express consent.

What we collect from your device.

When you access the MA Global website, MA Global's chat functionality and when you call us using a number published on an MA Global website, we collect information about you. This is not limited to your phone number, your device's make and model - it also includes your location, what you explore/watch/download on our website and how long form your IP address, order history and, a record of your comments to our agents. If you have a current email account with us, we also retain your emails if you don't download them. ​

What we collect from your use of our network.

When you use your phone or our network, we collect and generate information about you. This isn't limited to your device's make and model- it also includes your location, the SMSs you are sending or receiving, the calls you are making or receiving, your IP address and information about what you are looking at and doing online.

What we collect from other.

Other people or entities might give us personal information about you, such as when you use a phone provided under someone else’s account (e.g. an employer or a parent) or when you use a service provided by an MA Global reseller. 

We may also collect personal information from other companies that are able to disclose it to us, if it's not practical to collect it from you.

For example:

  • We obtain personal information from trusted data brokers, marketers and other analytics and advertising-related organisations to help us identify people who might be interested in hearing about our products, or to target our ads better. 

  • We also obtain data gathered through cookies, cookie-like technologies and internet-scraping tools. We do this to provide responses to you when you raise online queries or concerns, as well as to understand what people generally think about MA Global and are saying about MA Global. We also use them to track how effective our advertisements have been and what generates calls or other contacts to MA Global.

If you are not a Customer of MA Global, we may hold the information collected from others until you visit our webpage or contact us. If possible, we combine information arising from your contact with information we already hold in order to better serve you.

Security.

We have security measures in place to protect your personal information.

Some of the security measures we use include:

  • Account IDs, passwords and personal information about you that can be used to confirm your identity when you contact us or log into our systems.

  • Secure server and closed network environments.

  • Encryption of data in transit.

  • Virus scanning tools.

  • Management of access privileges, to ensure that only those who really need it can see your personal information.

  • Ongoing training and security reviews.

We consider that these measures are robust now, but security risks do change. Given this, we will continue to review security measures to protect your personal information.

Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information.

  • Providing the service or product that you have requested, 

  • Keeping you as a customer, 

  • Selling other MA Global services or products to you, 

  • Enticing people to become customers, and

  • Handling complaints or dealing with concerns, and

  • Providing aggregated or masked personal information to other companies so that they can create audiences that can be marketed to advertisers

We also do so to improve our network and service offerings, develop and evaluate products and services, determine the success of our advertising, improve our business processes, understand what people are saying about MA Global receive technical support, personalize our services and marketing, and comply with our legal obligations. 

Advertising & Analytics

Why does MA Global conduct analytics?

Analytics work helps MA Global do a range of things, including:

·       Improve our network performance and optimise how it functions.

·       Check how our website is performing 

·       Improve business processes

·       Optimise our marketing spend

·       Sell advertising to other businesses

·       Develop and evaluate products and services

What data gets used?

We may use information that we collect about you. Depending which MA Global services, you use, further information is in our Privacy Policy.

We may obtain information from Third Parties, such as:

·       Information gathered from publicly available sources (such as internet sites and public social media pages, phone books)

·       Cookies and advertising identifiers that track the behaviour of both customers and non-customers across the internet and, sometimes, caller interactions with our contact centre.

We also use cookies on out website and communications to you, include chat, which we add to our analytics work and which may be provided to Third Parties.

Information associated with browsing.

We collect information about the content of pages that you visit on the internet and may use this to infer your interests and preferences. Sometimes the information we collect about pages visited could be used to infer sensitive information about you. Our systems do not infer sensitive information about you unless we have express consent.

Payment Conditions

Monthly payment.

MA Global's monthly services shall be paid in advance. MA Global's billing cycle is calculated on a 30-days basis, starting the beginning of the month. Subscriptions effected in the middle of the month for the first period will be charged pro-rata, accordingly.

Non-consumes hours.

Connection hours not used during any given month will not be transferred or credited to any other month.

Additional hours.

Customers exceeding their purchased monthly connection time will be billed by electronic mail the next month. Customers prepaying in months increments will be billed for additional hours the next month at the current rate.

Investigation procedure.

In case of any misuse by any of MA Global's internet user and you desire information about such customer, kindly note that such information is highly confidential and cannot be disclosed to any other party, without an official request from the Public Prosecutor before the Court of Appeal in Beirut. 

Upon receiving the official request (signed and stamped), MA Global will take 48 hours to 5 working days to disclose the requested info provided, it is available in its log files.
